Mode of action:
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a class of crystalline bacillus including many varieties, which can paralyze the intestinal tract of insects in a few minutes. Insects stop feeding, and soon destroy the intestinal lining, resulting in the easy invasion of bacterial nutrient cells and penetrate the intestinal bottom membrane into the hemolymph. Finally, insects die of hunger and septicemia.
Uses:
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is widely applied to cruciferous vegetables, solanaceous vegetables, melons, tobacco, rice, corn, sorghum, soybeans, peanuts, sweet potato, cotton, tea trees, apples, pears, peaches, dates, oranges, bananas, mangoes, litchi and other crops and forests and grasslands.
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) insecticidal spectrum is wide, it is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of lepidoptera insect larvae, such as cabbage caterpillar, plutella xylostella, beet armyworm, prodenia litura, mamestra brassicae, helicoverpa assulta, ostrinia nubilalis, cnaphalocrocis medinalis, chilo suppressalis walker, dendrolimus, ectropis obliqua, corn armyworm, etiella zinckenella, and other pests larvae, Some subspecies or strains also had certain control effects on root-knot nematodes, mosquito larvae, beetles and other pests.
