Mode of action: 

Benzobicyclon is an HPPD‑inhibiting pro‑herbicide (HRAC Group F2). Upon activation under flooded paddy‑field conditions, it blocks carotenoid biosynthesis, disrupting photosynthetic electron transport and causing foliar bleaching and death of susceptible weeds.

Uses: 

Post‑emergence herbicide for transplanted and direct‑seeded rice paddies, to control broadleaf weeds and sedge weeds. Optimum activity occurs under flooded water‑holding conditions.
