Mode of action:
Benzovindiflupyr is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor. It acts on the protein complex II on the mitochondrial respiratory electron transfer chain of pathogenic bacteria, namely (succinatedehydrogenase, SDH) or (succinateubiquinonereductase SQR). It can tightly bind to the waxy layer of plants and slowly penetrate into the plant tissues. By interfering with the normal respiratory process of fungal cells, it acts on the target pathogenic bacteria, affecting the respiratory chain electron transfer system of the pathogenic bacteria, hindering their energy metabolism, inhibiting the growth of the pathogenic bacteria, and causing their death, thereby achieving the purpose of disease control.
Uses:
Description: Benzovindiflupyr has the characteristics of high activity, wide spectrum of bactericidal effect and long residual period. It is mainly used for the prevention and control of plant diseases caused by Cercospora fungi, such as leaf blight, powdery mildew, rust, root rot, basal rot, black spot, small spot, and gray mold.
Example controlled: Wheat leaf blight, Peanut black spot disease, Wheat root rot disease, Corn small spot disease, Wheat powdery mildew and gray mold disease, Soybean rust disease, Cucumber anthracnose disease, Apple anthracnose disease,Apple black spot disease, etc.
Example applications: Blueberries, rape, oats, wheat, rye, barley, corn, cotton, cucumbers, tomatoes, grapes, beans, peanuts, apples, soybeans, potatoes, lawn grass and nursery crops, etc.
