Mode of action:
Asulam inhibits folic acid synthesis, reduces nuclein synthesis, it is absorbed by leaves, shoots and roots, transmitted to the growth point of the underground rhizome rapidly, inhibits the underground rhizome breathing, cell division, cause the plant dies.
Uses:
Description: A systemic translocated carbamate herbicide for control of stubborn weeds which is usually used as the sodium or potassium salt.
Example weeds controlled: Broadleaf weeds such as Flixweed, Shepherd's purse, and Chickweed; Grassy weeds such as Dentes foxtail and Wild oat.
Example applications: Fruits including Apple, Pear, Plum, Cherry, Blackcurrant; Hops; Grazing land; Amenity grassland; Moorland.
