Benthiavalicarb-isopropyl

Benthiavalicarb-isopropyl has good bactericidal activity against Phytophthora, and has good inhibition on sporangium formation, sporangium germination at low concentration, but has no effect on zoospore release and movement. It is speculated that Benthiavalicarb-isopropyl has different mechanism of action from fungicides containing these functional groups. Moreover, Benthiavalicarb-isopropyl did not affect the synthesis of nucleic acid and protein oxidation, and had no effect on the function of protoserous membrane of Phytophthora.
