Bispyribac-sodium is a herbicide for the stems and leaves of direct-seeded rice fields. It inhibits the synthesis of vinegar and lactic acid through root absorption and hinders the branched amino acid biosynthesis. It is a selective herbicide. It is used in direct-seeded rice fields. Paspalum spiculata, heteromorphic sedges, sun-drifting grass, duck tongue, rotala rotundifolia, other grasses, broadleaf weeds and sedge weeds.
Uses:
Description: A post-emergence herbicide for the control of grasses, sedges and broad-leaved weeds in paddy rice and other crops/situations.
Example weeds controlled: Alligatorweed, Duckweed, Mosquito fern, Water fern, Water hyacinth, Water pennywort, Parrot feather; Annual bluegrass; Creeping bent grass.
Example applications: Aquatic situations such as drainage ditches, lakes, marshes; Golf courses, turf grass & sod farms.
