Chlorfenapyr
Common name: Chlorfenapyr
CAS No.: 122453-73-0
Specification: 95%TC, 240SC, 360SC, 500SC, 70%WP, 80%WP
Molecular formula: C15H11BrClF3N2O
Structural formula:
Mode of action:
Chlorfenapyr is a precursor of insecticide, which has no toxicity to insects. After insect feeding or exposure to chlorfenapyr, Chlorfenapyr is transformed into a specific insecticidal active compound under the action of multifunctional oxidase, which targets the mitochondria in insect somatic cells. The cell synthesis due to the lack of energy and stop the function of life, the drug after the activity of pests become weak, spots, color change, activity stopped, coma, paralytic, and eventually lead to death.
Uses:
Description: Used to control many insects and mites including those resistant to carbamate, organophosphate and pyrethroid compounds.
Example pests controlled: Spider mites; Caterpillars; Thrips; Fungus gnats.
