Common name: Flumetralin
CAS No.: 62924-70-3
Specification: 95%TC, 25%EC, 12.5%EC, 250SC
Molecular formula: C16H12ClF4N3O4

Mode of action:
Flumetralin is a contact-type growth regulator used as a topical treatment for the control of sucker growth on flue-cured, burley, dark fire-cured, maryland and cigar tobacco.
Uses:
Description: Used to control axillary bud (sucker) growth after the floral portion of tobacco plants have been topped.
Main effects: Improve the yield and quality of tobacco.
Example plants: Tobacco.
Application instructions(FLUMETRALIN 150EC):
• At topping - top plants as soon as the upmost required leaf is at such size that it will not be damaged by the chemical application.
• For best results, application should be made by hand (cup method) shortly after topping and before suckers exceed 2cm in length.
• Apply FLUMETRALIN 150EC immediately after topping (within 24 hours) when most tobacco plants are in the elongated button to early flower stage.
• Plants must be upright to ensure that the product flows into each leaf axil.
• Do not allow the emulsion to collect down at the base of the plant.
• Rain occurring within two (2) hours after application may reduce effectiveness.
