Flumetsulam is a selective, systemic herbicide, it is absorbed by roots and leaves, inhibits plant amino acid synthesis-acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS), inhibiting the synthesis of BCAAs hinders protein synthesis, causing plants to stop growing.
Uses:
Description: A selective, post-emergence sulfonamide herbicide used mainly to control broad-leaved weeds and some grasses.
Example weeds controlled: Broad-leaved weeds including Black nightshade, Cleavers, Chickweed, Fat hen, Hedge mustard, Wild radish, Buttercup, Mallow.
Example applications: Clover; Maize; Pasture.
