Folpet; CAS NO 133-07-3; protective fungicide for broad spectrum control of fungal pathogens

Folpet is a broad-spectrum protective organic sulfur bactericide. Its mechanism of action is to affect the decarboxylation of pyruvate or inhibit the activity of α-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase, thereby blocking the tricarboxylic acid cycle. The fungicide, which mainly acts on foliar protection, is safe to crops within the registered dose range.
