Mode of action:
Metalaxyl is an internal fungicide with protective and therapeutic effects. It can be absorbed by the roots, stems and leaves of plants, and transferred to the organs of plants with the movement of water in the plant body. It is effective against diseases caused by frostomyces, phytophthora and rot.
Uses:
Description: A fungicide used to control diseases caused by air- and soil-borne Peronosporales in many different crops.
Example pests controlled: Downy mildew; Foliar and tuber blight; Damping-off.
Example applications: Many agricultural crops including tobacco, potaoes, soybean, onions, citrus, cucubits, tomatoes, cotton; Ornamentals; Turf.
