Saflufenacil is a pyrimidine, protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) inhibitor. It can be used as a pesticidal herbicide to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to glyphosate, ALS and triazines. It has rapid inactivation and rapid degradation of soil residue. It can be used in combination with a gramineous weed herbicide, such as glyphosate. It works well and can be applied in a variety of crop fields as well as non-arable fields with little rotation restriction.
Description: Used alone or mixed with glyphosate for rapid control of many dicotyledonous weeds by pre-plant and pre-emergence applications to a wide range of food crops.
Example pests controlled: Fleabane; Volunteer cotton; Annual ryegrass; Brome; Volunteer lupins; Marshmallow; Sowthistle; Hedge mustard; Clover; Turnip weed.
