Tembotrione
Common name:Tembotrione
CAS No.:335104-84-2
Specification: 95%TC, 50OD, 80OD
Molecular formula: C17H16ClF3O6S
Structural formula:
Tembotrione is mainly used in maize fields. It is a post-bud HPPD (p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxidase) inhibitor herbicide, which can block the biosynthesis of isoprenoquinone in plants, causing chlorosis, discoloration, tissue necrosis, and eventually death within 2 weeks. Cyclosulfonone is one of the most important herbicides in Maize field in the United States. It mainly targets various broad-leaf weeds and gramineae weeds in the middle and late period after germination in maize field, and has excellent control effect on thistle, field coniferous weed, penicillium spicata, ernestol flower and porcinia crassifolia, and has no harm to subsequent crops. The maximum dosage per season is 100 g/hm2. The main dosage form is dispersable oil suspension agent.
Description: A post-emergence herbicide for the control of a broad spectrum of broad-leaved and grassy weeds in corn and other crops.
Example weeds controlled: Barnyardgrass; Crabgrass; Foxtail; Goosegrass; Nutsedge; Wild oats; Johnsongrass; Junglerice; nightshade; pigweed; Ragweed; Velvetleaf; Waterhemp.
Example applications:Maize; Sweetcorn.
