Bensulfuron-methyl is a selective, systemic, translocated herbicide, it is absorbed through foliage and roots and translocated to other weed position, inhibits plant amino acid synthesis - acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS, and inhibits weed foliage, root growth.
Uses:
Description: A pyrimidinylsulfonylurea herbicide used to control annual and perennial weed and sedge.
Example weeds controlled: Pigweed; Chickweed; Wild mustard; Stinkgrass; Barnyard grass; Flatsedge; Dwarf umbrella grass; Nut-grass; Monochoria vaginalis;Bog pondweed.
