Kasugamycin
Common name: Kasugamycin
CAS No.: 16980-18-3
Specification: 70%TC, 80%TC, 2%WP, 3%WP, 6%WP, 2%SL, 3%SL, 6%SL
Molecular formula: C14H25N3O9
Structural formula:
Mode of action:
Contact action resulting in the inhibition of protein biosynthesis reducing bacterial growth and reproduction (bacteriostatic), rather than killing the bacteria directly.
Uses:
Description: Kasugamycin is a low toxicity, systemic fungicide. It is mainly used to prevent and control rice blast, and is applied at the rice ear extraction stage and the filling stage, and exerts its fungicide effect through the therapeutic effect of systemic suction.
Example fungi controlled: Bacterial rot (Erwinia atroseptica); Leaf mold (Cladosporium fulvum); Bacteria spot (Xanthomonas campestris), Rice blast; Scab.
Example applications: Tomatoes; Peppers; Rice; Potatoes; Sugarbeets; Celeries, Apples.
