Penoxsulam is a conductive herbicide, which is absorbed by stem, leaves, buds and roots, and transmitted to meristem through xylem and phloem. It inhibits plant growth and causes the growth point to turn green. 7-14 days after treatment, the terminal bud turns red and necrotic, and the plant dies in 2-4 weeks. This agent is a strong acetyllactate synthetase inhibitor. The drug appears slowly, and it takes a certain time for weeds to die gradually.
