Pyroxsulam
Common name:Pyroxsulam
CAS No.:422556-08-9
Specification: 96%TC, 40OD, 45OD, 7.5%WDG
Molecular formula: C14H13F3N6O5S
Structural formula:
Pyroxsulam is a sulfonamide herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves, sheathes, stems or roots of weeds and accumulates at growth points, which inhibits acetyllactate synthase and prevents the synthesis of branched amino acids (such as valine, leucine and isoleucine), thereby affecting protein synthesis and ultimately cell division of weeds, causing them to stop growing, turn yellow and die.
Description: A post-emergence herbicide useful for the control of annual grass and broad-leaved weeds in cereals.
Example weeds controlled:Cheat grass (Bromus japonicus); Ryegrass (Lolium perenne); Canary grass (Phalaris paradoxa); Wild oats (Avena sterilis).
Example applications:Cereals including wheat, barley, rye, triticale.
