Tetramethrin is a powerful synthetic insecticide belonging to pyrethroids. Its mixed stereoisomers are used in commercial products. Permethrin, which is commonly used to make insecticides, affects the nervous system of insects. It can be used to control mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches and other sanitary pests. It has tactile action, strong knockdown effect, and can drive away cockroaches, but the lethal effect is not enough.
